Stop by the Atlantic City Melting Pot and meet our chef Alex! Greeting you with a warm smile you can immediatly tell that you are in good hands. He began working in restuarants since he moved to the Atlantic City area over a decade ago. It has been over  a year since Alex joined The Melting Pot team and began his transformation of the kitchen into the best that is has ever been. He is constantly making improvements everyday. His attitude about how important quality and freshness are can be seen in every dish and ingredient that leaves the kitchen. During the evening he joins his team members on the diningroom floor and helps take care of our guests every desire. He truely is a key member to The Melting Pot team in helping to create the perfect night out! 

 

Chef Recipe:

Fiesta Cheese Fondue

4 oz. Sharp Wisconsin Cheddar and Emmanthaler Swiss shredded and lightly floured

2.5 oz light beer

3 oz. Homemade salsa (includes tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and jalapenos)

3 oz. jalapenos ( optional )

Fresh cracked pepper

Make sure your fondue pot is at a high temperature. Add the beer and salsa into the pot. Add slowly 1/3 of the cheese at a time letting it melt and mixing it with the base and salsa. Add fresh cracked ground pepper and jalapenos if you would like. Lower the temperature and dip in! Happy Fondueing!
